Cheese, tomato & spicy sausage puff

To give this the ultimate taste approval test some of our team left slices on the side for their children to discover. The result was as if Santa had been, just crumbs and nothing else!
This snack, including supermarket bought puff pastry should come in at no more than £2.50 which works out to be less than 50p a slice.
Not only does this recipe represent good value it is also super quick with hands on preparation taking less than 5 minutes!
- 1 supermarket bought pre-rolled puff pastry
- 75g GBOF Pizza tomato sauce
- 75g Fresh Italian Julienne Fior di Latte Mozzarella
- 6. -8 slices Italian Spicy Sausage
Following the instructions on the puff pastry packet remove the pastry from its packet and preheat the oven. Add a baking sheet/tray to the oven to heat up.
Unroll the pastry leaving it on its parchment paper, and spoon on the tomato sauce leaving a 2cm gap around the edges, which will allow the crust to puff up. Add the cheese and finally the sausage. Transfer to the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 12 – 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack. Once cooled slice into six pieces and serve.
