Julienne Fior di Latte Mozzarella

100% Fior di Latte Mozzarella made from cow’s milk. The Julienne style is what is used by the Neopolitan chefs of Naples as the cut prevents the cheese from burning when being cooked whilst still delivering a delicious melt and stretch. Cut like “chips” this style of Mozzarella is also known as the Napoli cut.

If you’re planning on baking a pizza with more toppings than just a Margherita then we highly recommend using this cheese as it produces less water, ensuring you won’t end up with a soggy bottom, and will not burn the same as Buffala di Mozarella as the meat toppings cook. This cheese is perfect for topping a pizza creating a luscious melting stretch and perfect browning whilst retaining all the taste you want from a good pizza cheese.

Thinking outside the pizza oven, this cheese is perfect for baked pasta dishes.

I recommend this product

Great cheese

This is great cheese, much better than supermarket ones. The melt is great on top of the pizza, doesn't burn too much and the melt is excellent and it tastes great. The photo attached is from 3 minutes in the pizza oven, as you can see the melt and colour is great. The other advantage of this cheese is because it is in strips you can make an easy and excellent stuffed cheese crust. Yum yum yum

Worth it - way better than regular grated cheese

I was surprised how much of a difference this made. We made 4 pizzas & there was enough of this for those. When I made a 5th another day & had run out, I used regular grated cheese - not the same at all! This is pricy but worth it for an authentic tasting & looking pizza
