This spicy cured sausage is otherwise known as “Salsiccia Bastone Piccante” in Italian which literally translates as “spicy sausage stick” and is made from cured pork in Italy and uses Calabrian chilli peppers that give it a hot, but not overpowering, heat. As a spicy sausage, from the Calabrian (toe) region of Italy which is famous for its spicy chilli peppers. As a firm pepperoni/chorizo style sausage Salsiccia Piccante should not be confused with the spreadable Nduja sausage from the same region.
Packed in casing.
Ideal for slicing, great on top of pizza also beautiful in casseroles.
Available as either a full, or half sausage.
