Remove from the freezer and allow your dough ball to thaw and proof at room temperature. Sourdough needs a little extra love, allow a few hours for the wild yeast to reactivate fully. Good things take time.

Shape
Lightly flour your surface and press the dough from the centre outward, letting gravity do the work. Stretch gently to your 12-inch base. No rolling pin needed.
Step 3
Top Sauce
Sauce, cheese, toppings. This is your moment. Use quality ingredients and don't overload the base.

Bake & Eat

This is exactly where sourdough makes the difference. Our dough is made using wild yeast (not commercial baker’s yeast) and goes through a long, cold fermentation, which helps naturally break down the gluten structure.
Because of this, many people who are sensitive to both wheat and conventional yeast find sourdough much easier to digest.
That said, if you have a diagnosed intolerance or allergy, we’d always recommend checking with your GP first. But the feedback we hear from wheat- and yeast-sensitive customers is consistently amazing.

How do I prepare the dough balls?
Super simple.
Take your dough balls out of the freezer, defrost in the fridge, then bring them to room temperature before stretching. Once they’re soft, airy, and relaxed, you’re ready to stretch and bake.
