Four Steps to the GREAT Pizza of Your Life
Step 1
Thaw & Proof
Remove from the freezer and allow your dough ball to thaw and proof at room temperature. Sourdough needs a little extra love, allow a few hours for the wild yeast to reactivate fully. Good things take time.
Step 2
Shape
Lightly flour your surface and press the dough from the centre outward, letting gravity do the work. Stretch gently to your 12-inch base. No rolling pin needed.
Step 3
Top Sauce
Sauce, cheese, toppings. This is your moment. Use quality ingredients and don't overload the base.
Step 4
Bake & Eat
High heat is your best friend. Kitchen oven, pizza oven, or BBQ, the hotter the better. Watch the crust blister and char. Pull it out. Try to wait 30 seconds before eating.

"Is it worth it vs. just buying supermarket dough?"
Let's do the maths. A 24-ball box works out at £1.88 per pizza. A premium Italian pizzeria charges £14–£20 a pizza.
A supermarket dough ball costs around £1.50, but it's made with baker's yeast, added preservatives, and zero fermentation time.
You're not really comparing the same thing. One is a shortcut. The other is a proper pizza.
"Will it work in my oven?"
Yes. Our dough has been tested and loved in kitchen ovens, Ooni, Gozney, Big Green Egg, wood-fired ovens, and BBQs.
The key is high heat and confidence. Full guidance is included with every order and video tutorials are available online.
"I'm sensitive to wheat/yeast, will this be okay?"
This is exactly where sourdough makes the difference. Our dough is made using wild yeast (not commercial baker’s yeast) and goes through a long, cold fermentation, which helps naturally break down the gluten structure.
Because of this, many people who are sensitive to both wheat and conventional yeast find sourdough much easier to digest.
That said, if you have a diagnosed intolerance or allergy, we’d always recommend checking with your GP first. But the feedback we hear from wheat- and yeast-sensitive customers is consistently amazing.

How long do I need to proof the sourdough dough balls?
Sourdough needs more time than standard dough. After removing from the freezer, allow the dough to thaw in the fridge overnight, then bring to room temperature for 3–5 hours before shaping. The wild yeast needs time to reactivate, this is where the flavour comes from, so don't rush it.
How many pizzas does one ball make?
Each ball is 250g and makes one 12-inch pizza.
What ovens does it work with?
All of them. Kitchen oven, Ooni, Gozney, Big Green Egg, wood-fired oven, BBQ. The hotter the better.
Why do you recommend ordering a minimum of 8 balls?
Our dough is shipped fresh and travels without refrigerated transport. A minimum of 8 balls ensures the thermal packaging maintains the correct temperature throughout the journey and your dough arrives in perfect condition.
Is it suitable for people with wheat intolerance?
Many customers with wheat sensitivity report that our sourdough is significantly easier to digest due to the long fermentation process. We always recommend checking with your GP if you have a diagnosed condition.
What's your returns policy?
