All Natural Sourdough Pizza Dough Balls
Great Balls of Flour All Natural Sourdough Pizza Dough Balls. Crafted with natural wild yeast and no added yeast, Great Balls of Flour pizza dough pucks are meticulously nurtured for a robust, sour and tangy flavour and nutty after notes that are developed during a 48-hour cold fermentation proofing process.
Made with high-protein wheat flour, water, and salt, our pizza dough balls are free from preservatives, our "mother" starter, (we call it "Bubbles"), boasts years of care to elevate your pizza experience.
The slow, controlled fermentation method, which takes over two days yields a pliable pizza base that is easier on the stomach by being easier to digest which can benefit those people who may suffer from certain stomach intolerances associated with wheat.
Dough preparation couldn't be easier. Simply remove the pizza dough puck from the freezer, remove it from its wrapping, place it in a proofing container (sold separately), or a similar bowl/tray and let it rest for several hours to turn into its final pizza dough ball.
Then lightly flour it and gently press and stretch the pizza dough ball out to create a 12" diameter pizza base. Full instructions are included with your order and we have lots of helpful tutorials in our help centre.

Please note: Sourdough is a much harder dough to work with than Original Neapolitan and Easy Stretch Dough balls. We recommend honing your skills with either of these first and watching our video tutorials.
